Product Description

MDP 15 Magnetic Drive Pumps also known as magnetically coupled pumps, operate differently from traditional pumps because they use magnetic coupling to transfer energy from the electric motor to the pump. This eliminates the need for a direct mechanical shaft & the conventional sealing system that comes with it. Instead, a drive magnet is used to rotate the impeller, which is also equipped with a permanent rare earth magnet. This design ensures that the MDP 15 Magnetic Drive Pumps casing is fully sealed from the drive end & prevents common issues such as seal repairing & replacement, leakage, & production loss.
